Earlier this week I saw my orthopedist and he removed my stitches from wrist surgery. The lump was benign and all is good.
I've had a bothersome bump on the bottom of my foot and thought it was due to wearing ill-arched shoes. I had the doctor take a quick look at it and he rattled off some long name followed by the words "Good luck finding a surgeon who'll remove that one."
Apparently, this type of bumpy lump grows into the tissue differently than my wrist lumpy bump and is almost guaranteed to grow back the doctor explained. He then went on to say that these types of growths are incredibly hard to discern between benign and malignant tumors. WHAT THE?????????? He didn't sound too concerned though so I'm taking his word for it.
So now I just get to wait and see how big this bump on my foot gets. It's so much fun getting older.
