Now What Is It That I Am Supposed To Be Doing???
It's so easy this time of year to get caught "seeing shiny things" - Nate's definition of his excuse for doing one thing when he started off doing something else. Like right now for example, I am hungry, it's lunchtime, but I thought , 'well, lets just see if I have any e-mail' and the next thing you know here I am posting a blog. My intentions didn't start off with 'Hey! I'm going to post a blog' it just happened. Like when I went downstairs to throw on a load of laundry and ended up making Christmas cards. Whatever..... so now maybe I'll go say that I will put dishes in the dishwasher that way I'll be in the kitchen, see something shiny and voila! I'm eating a sandwich.

Another One Bites The Dust
What is it with our extended family and doctors lately? I think we enjoy them a little too much. It all started mid-September when Grandpa Spain decided to go down for the count in Ferndale, Washington and passed away. God rest His Soul. Shortly after my sister, Carrie, went to the doctor for fatigue and found out that she had a hole in her heart that required major surgery on Halloween. One week after her surgery my brother-in-law, Kurt, was hospitalized for a week with intestinal issues and now just yesterday we recieved a phone call from Leslie that Nate's dad, Bruce, pulled and tore his ligaments and tendons in his left arm due to helping Leslie park the car in 14 inches of snow (see this is where the terrible winter weather conditions in Western Washington come into play). Bruce will have surgery on Thusrday. Our thoughts are with him.
Our family has been in pretty good health although Annabelle has been going through a series of eye exams and will probably end up with corrective lenses. If that's all that happens though we'll take it.
Amid all of this my brother did manage to sneak in a wedding in Couer d'Alene on November, 11. We welcome his lovely bride, Lisa, into the family.
Now Spains and Peppers, stay healthy the rest of the year. You hear me?!?

Blog Spot Here We Come!
OK. Here's the deal. We already have a website through Verizon and I can blog on that but the problem is that people like you can't make remarks on my wonderful commentary. haha! I thought maybe I'd give this a shot and see what happens. I really don't have a clue as to how this all works either. I'll probably post religiously for a while and then we'll see a dip in the action. Later it'll be sayonara Blog Spot and onto the newest wave of internet socializing.
