Josie was in the middle of reading one of her stories she'd written in English class when mid-sentence she says, "What Mom, is my breath burning your eyes?" I asked her what in the world that meant and she said, "Well, I was in the middle of reading this and you started squinching your eyes. I thought maybe my breath was burning them."
This morning, I informed Josie that my friend Jeannine would be spending the night tomorrow night after we scrapbook late at the office.
"Well, that's weird." She says.
"Why?" I asked her.
"I didn't know that old people could have sleepovers. I just thought that was a kid thing."
