Annabelle preparing to make sand cookies
We've had Father's Day camping penciled in for nearly two months so we were thrilled when it finally came time to go. The Rembert family joined us on Sunday afternoon and then their girls, Allie and Emily, camped with us in Trudy, our trusty camper.
The following day Nate had to go back into town for work. The Sprotts and Harders came out to keep me company Monday afternoon with Jeannine and Matt arriving later to retrieve Allie and Emily.
We had a wonderful time as it's always fun to get out in nature. It's hard to believe that just several days earlier it was snowing outside. This cooler weather and rain has made for some of the lushest, greenest vegetation we've seen on the Palouse in a while. I felt like I was driving through a postcard when we came home last night.
